Reflections on 2010
I’m in central time and my clock says that I have 57 minutes to put this out there… 2010 was a really interesting year for me. Honestly, while I’m thankful for the experiences I’ve gained and memories that I’ve made, I won’t be sad to see the year end.

Playlist: Christina Perri - The Ocean Way Sessions
I just heard her song ‘Jar of Hearts’ yesterday (apparently I’m way behind because it was also used on So You Think You Can Dance).. Anyway, I’m a little addicted now.
The Ocean Way Sessions is a live studio EP so there are only 5 songs and I like them all. The songs all sound really raw and melancholy, but in the best and most compelling way.

In response to my fashion advice question.
I don’t have anything to show you, but I always look through lookbook.nu when I need some fashion inspiration. A lot of the people on there wear stuff that really should never be worn in public (or ever), though sometimes you can find a gem.

Dear friends,
It is 4-something AM and I am sitting here having a conversation about counting with an almost 3 year old playing on a leapster. Why, God, is this child wide awake? Where did his sudden irrational fear of shadow monsters come from? Why am I wide awake? I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in over a week. I even crashed at 10:30, excited about getting in at least 8 hours...
